"I have posted on here before as I have my X1 for about 13 years now, it has lived through 3 house rennovations and all our pets, 3 cats and a dog. They are just the best; I would not consider anything else. After running out of bags for the first time over a week ago, I used my neighbours 3 day old Dyson - well, what can I say, it just doesn't compete, the tank had a little bit of animal hair in it and that was it - I got a bass broom to the lounge carpet after to remove the rest.

This is the only vacuum I have ever bought and my parents, my in-laws and my grandparent all have Orecks, as do my best friend and my brother and numerous other people we have told over the years - WE LOVE YOU ORECK. When funds are better (after finishing the building work on our current house) we are going to buy a new one as we feel all the years of extremely hard work, 'olive' the oreck should retire as she has worked very very hard (and is still going)."

"I'm really pleased with my Oreck. It made my carpet look like new in just a few minutes, no going over the same place a few times like my old 'hoovers'. The Oreck also sweeps up my long hair off the carpet on the first sweep. With my old 'hoovers' I had to pick up my own hair off the carpet. The canister is brilliant also, on the stairs and hard to get places. Well worth the money -"
